The tools this server publishes, with the descriptions your client shows. The manifest is versioned and hashed for every release. Any change to a tool changes the hash.
compare_side_by_side
Compare 2 to 10 papers side by side: paper_ids from an answer, or papers as the user saw them (the title links, references such as arXiv 2604.09060 or SSRN 4280465, DOIs or titles). Up to 4 papers: their fields as rows. 5 to 10: the papers as rows with strategy, universe, rebalance, costs and benchmark; columns adds up to 3 more (claim, inputs, frequency, method, region, asset, long/short, window, lookbacks, signal, data, tests). Show the answer as given. Never pick a winner.
deep_dive_paper
One paper in depth. paper = its title words, or its reference as the answers print it (arXiv 2604.09060, SSRN 4280465, DOI 10.1111/jofi.12544), or a link, or a paper id from an answer's structured content. A number the user says is a row of the last list: pass that row's title or link. part: overview (what it trades, claims and tests, where it sits, the papers most like it), method (how it works, with quotes: the paid plan). Show the answer as given. Never turn it into advice.
due_diligence
Due diligence on this tool for compliance, ops and tech: how the data is obtained and licensed, what we keep about users, AI use, security, the two plans and the documents we send. With paper: where that one paper's record comes from and under which licence. Show the answer as given.
explore_strategy_idea
Explore a strategy idea: from a broad idea to the right batch of papers, then its features and its most complete papers. Turn the user's words into our filters (keys below), several at once if they give several ('US momentum since 2020 with costs' = strategy momentum, geography us, year_from 2020, costs true). With no filter it shows the selector: strategies, assets, regions, periods and what the abstract must state, with counts. A big batch comes back as the selector again, narrowed. A small one, or show='batch', comes back with its features and its most complete papers. show='all' lists every paper, 20 a page. Show the answer as given. Never rank papers as better or recommend one.
get_started
Start here when a user opens Praxis with no clear ask, asks what it is, or says 'start over'. One screen: what Praxis is, then the four things it does, each opening one step. Show the answer as given.
latest_in_my_area
What's new in the user's area: a summary of what was published, then the most complete papers, then all of them. With no area it shows the selector of what is new (strategies, assets, regions, what the abstract must state, with counts) and the user picks, or everything=true. The last 30 days unless the user names a window (7d, 30d, 90d or a date). Show the answer as given. Never call a paper better or best.
share_with_team
Share one paper or a shortlist (2 to 10) with the user's team: a snapshot of what they see now, opened only by their teammates after sign-in. Always asks first: call with confirm=true only after the user said yes. list_mine shows the user's shares, revoke takes one back. Show the answer as given, the link as a markdown link.
